By using this site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. We respect your privacy and comply with the Colorado Privacy Act. This page explains what information this website collects and why, and does not replace the practice’s clinical privacy notice.
Contact form
When you submit the contact form we collect your first name, last name, email address and the message you write. We use this only to reply to you. The form is processed through Netlify, the provider that hosts this site. Please do not include clinical or medical details in this form.
Scheduling
The free 15-minute consultation is scheduled through Calendly, which collects your name, email address and the time you choose. Therapy, supervision and group sessions are scheduled and paid through the secure SimplePractice client portal, which operates under its own privacy policy and is HIPAA compliant.
Virtual assistant
This site may include a conversational assistant provided by Chatbase. Conversations are processed on that provider’s servers. Please do not use the assistant to share clinical, medical or otherwise sensitive information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand in aggregate how the site is used (page views, traffic sources). IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use this information to identify you.
Your rights under the Colorado Privacy Act
If you are a Colorado resident, the Colorado Privacy Act gives you the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, request its deletion, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of its use for targeted advertising or profiling. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at raices.rootsllc@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law, and if we decline your request you may appeal through the same channel.
Clinical privacy notice
Information about how protected health information (PHI) is handled is provided in the practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices, together with consent forms, through the secure client portal.
